- How long does the mailbox last?
- Exactly 10 minutes (600 seconds) from creation. Access is denied as soon as the timer reaches zero.
- Can an expired mailbox be recovered?
- No. There is no recovery, password reset, or mailbox reactivation.
- Are messages private?
- Messages are only accessible through the HttpOnly session cookie for that mailbox. They are stored temporarily and deleted after expiration.
- Are attachments supported?
- Yes. Safe files (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, PDF, text/CSV, ZIP) are stored and downloadable. HTML emails are sanitized and shown with remote/CID images when possible. Unsupported or oversized files are blocked.
- Can I send email?
- No. This service is receive-only.
- What happens after expiration?
- The mailbox can no longer be accessed. A scheduled job permanently removes D1 metadata and R2 message bodies.
- Should I use this for important accounts?
- No. Do not use temporary email for banking, healthcare, government services, employment accounts, password recovery, or long-term services.
