Temporary Mail

FAQ

How long does the mailbox last?
Exactly 10 minutes (600 seconds) from creation. Access is denied as soon as the timer reaches zero.
Can an expired mailbox be recovered?
No. There is no recovery, password reset, or mailbox reactivation.
Are messages private?
Messages are only accessible through the HttpOnly session cookie for that mailbox. They are stored temporarily and deleted after expiration.
Are attachments supported?
Yes. Safe files (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, PDF, text/CSV, ZIP) are stored and downloadable. HTML emails are sanitized and shown with remote/CID images when possible. Unsupported or oversized files are blocked.
Can I send email?
No. This service is receive-only.
What happens after expiration?
The mailbox can no longer be accessed. A scheduled job permanently removes D1 metadata and R2 message bodies.
Should I use this for important accounts?
No. Do not use temporary email for banking, healthcare, government services, employment accounts, password recovery, or long-term services.
