How to use it

  1. Create a mailbox with the button in the panel above.

  3. Keep this tab open and wait for inbound messages while the timer runs.
  4. Delete the mailbox when you are done, or let it expire after 10 minutes.

What this service is

10 Minute Temp Email is a browser inbox on a dedicated mail domain. Each mailbox is a random local-part that exists for 10 minutes. Incoming mail is accepted only while that mailbox is active. Ownership is a session cookie in the browser that created it.

It is independent of Gmail and of other disposable-mail brands. Longer explanations live on the blog, starting with how a temporary inbox works.

Appropriate and inappropriate uses

Use this inbox when you need inbound mail for a few minutes, the other site allows a disposable address, and you will not need those messages later. Typical fits include a one-time confirmation you are allowed to receive this way, a clipboard form you do not trust with your primary address, and testing a signup flow you are authorized to test.

Do not use it for banking, healthcare, government, employment, password recovery, or purchases you may need to prove. Do not use it to bypass payment, account limits, bans, or verification rules. If a site blocks disposable domains, respect that and use a permitted address. See when you should and should not and the Acceptable Use Policy.

If the message does not arrive

Create the mailbox before you submit the other form, copy the address instead of typing it, and keep this tab open. If the timer is almost done, create a new mailbox and request a new message. Expired inboxes cannot be restored.

How do I use it?
Create a mailbox with the tool above, copy the address, paste it into a form that allows disposable mail, and watch this tab until the message arrives.
