About 10 Minute Temp Email
A receive-only mailbox you create in the browser. It lasts 10 minutes, then access and stored mail go away.
Who created it
10 Minute Temp Email was created and is maintained by Dinitha Ransidu, a software engineer. Dinitha also created ImgTask. There is no larger team, office address, or certification to list.
Why it was built
Many forms ask for an email before they will continue. Pasting a primary inbox into every one of them is how that address ends up on lists and in breach dumps. This project exists so a short-lived, receive-only destination can catch a message without creating another permanent account—when the other site allows it.
What the service does
- Creates a random address on mail.10mintempemail.com
- Receives inbound mail for 10 minutes through Cloudflare Email Routing
- Shows sanitized HTML and allowlisted attachments in the browser
- Deletes access and stored data after expiry or when you delete the mailbox
The public site and the mail pipeline are Cloudflare Workers. Mailbox metadata lives in D1; message bodies live in a private R2 bucket. Details: how we built the inbox.
What it does not do
- Send, reply, or forward
- Recover an expired or deleted mailbox
- Bypass another website’s disposable-domain blocklist
- Replace a bank, work, government, or recovery address
- Hide mail from the operator while the mailbox is alive
Responsible use
Use this inbox to keep a primary address off low-stakes forms that permit disposable mail, and to test systems you own or are authorized to test. Do not use it to bypass payment, account limits, bans, or verification requirements, or to misrepresent identity. Full rules: Acceptable Use Policy. Report harm via Report abuse.
Privacy and expiration
Ownership is an HttpOnly session cookie. After 10 minutes—or after you delete the mailbox—the API refuses the session and cleanup removes stored objects. There is no restore path. See the Privacy Policy and how mail is sanitized and deleted.
Advertising
Ads may appear on the homepage (away from mailbox controls) and on original articles, to keep the service free. They are not placed on legal pages, contact forms, or abuse reports. Ads are never required to create a mailbox. See the Cookie Policy.
