Frequently asked questions

How this 10-minute inbox works, what happens when the timer ends, and how to use it responsibly. Longer answers: how the inbox works, when to use it, and expiration troubleshooting.

What is a temporary email address?
A short-lived disposable inbox. On this site, each mailbox lasts exactly 10 minutes, then access ends.
How long does the mailbox last?
Exactly 10 minutes (600 seconds) from creation. Access is denied as soon as the timer reaches zero.
How do I get an address?
Open the homepage, create a mailbox, and copy the generated address into the form that needs it. Keep the tab open so you can read verification messages before expiry.
Is this a good fit for my use case?
It fits short inbound-mail tasks where disposable addresses are allowed: no permanent account, receive-only, and no recovery. It is not for banking or long-term accounts. See when you should and should not use temporary email.
Is this related to Gmail or other temp-mail brands?
No. This site is an independent 10-minute inbox and is not affiliated with Google or other disposable-mail brands.
Is the service free?
Yes. Creating and using a 10-minute inbox does not require payment. We may show ads (including Google AdSense) to support hosting. See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for cookies and consent.
Can an expired mailbox be recovered?
No. There is no recovery, password reset, or mailbox reactivation. After expiry you can create a new inbox manually.
Are messages private?
Messages are only accessible through the HttpOnly session cookie for that mailbox. They are stored temporarily and deleted after expiration. Treat any disposable address as short-lived and low-stakes. The service operator can see mail while the box is alive.
Are attachments supported?
Yes. Safe files (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, PDF, text/CSV, ZIP) are stored and downloadable. HTML emails are sanitized and shown with remote/CID images when possible. Unsupported or oversized files are blocked.
Can I send email from this inbox?
No. This service is receive-only. You cannot send, reply, or forward.
What happens after expiration?
The mailbox can no longer be accessed. A scheduled job permanently removes mailbox metadata and stored message bodies.
Do you show ads?
We may display advertisements, including Google AdSense, to support the free service. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for advertising cookies, Google Analytics, and consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland.
Should I use this for important accounts?
No. Do not use a 10-minute inbox for banking, healthcare, government services, employment accounts, password recovery, or long-term services.
What uses are prohibited?
Spam, phishing, fraud, malware, credential theft, automated abuse, ban evasion, free-trial abuse, and illegal activity are not allowed. See the Acceptable Use Policy and Report abuse page.
What if a website rejects the address?
Some sites block known disposable domains. That is their policy. For that signup you may need a permanent address or a different method. This site does not help bypass those blocks.
