How to Create a Temporary Email Address
Create a 10-minute receive-only inbox in the browser, copy the address, catch inbound mail, and let the mailbox expire. No account required.
You can create a temporary email address in the browser on this site without registering a long-term account. The address lasts 10 minutes, receives mail only, and cannot be recovered after it expires.

Before you start
You need a browser and a form that is allowed to use a disposable address. You do not need a password on this site, an app install, or a credit card.
Have the other site’s form almost ready. The countdown starts when the mailbox is created, not when mail is sent. Creating the address and then walking away is how people miss the message.
If the other website blocks disposable domains, respect that and use a permitted permanent address or alias instead.
Step by step
- Open 10mintempemail.com.
- Use Create temporary email. A human check may appear when that protection is enabled.
- Copy the generated address with the copy control. The domain is
mail.10mintempemail.com. - Paste it into the form you are filling in.
- Keep this tab visible. New messages appear in the list while the mailbox is active.
- Open the message you need. HTML is sanitized; supported attachments can be viewed through the inbox.
- When you are done, delete the mailbox, or let the 10-minute timer finish.
If you need another address later, create a new mailbox. The previous one will not come back.
What you will see in the tool
- The current address and a countdown
- Copy, refresh, and delete controls
- A message list that updates while the session is valid
- An empty state until mail arrives
- An expired state when the timer ends
Those screens are part of the app, not separate public articles. They require the session cookie from the browser that created the inbox.
Common mistakes
Retyping the address. One wrong character is a different mailbox.
Starting the other form first. Request the code only after this inbox exists.
Switching devices. The session lives in an HttpOnly cookie on one browser.
Waiting after expiry. Ask the other site to send a new message to a new address. See expiration and verification troubleshooting.
Using it for an account you must keep. Banking, healthcare, government, work, and password recovery do not belong here.
Limits you should expect
- Receive-only: you cannot send, reply, or forward
- Message size and count caps per mailbox
- A small attachment allowlist; other files are not stored
- Rate limiting on mailbox creation
- No recovery after delete or expiry
These limits are part of keeping a free, short-lived inbox operable. They are not a puzzle to bypass.
